I’m thinking that Kiffin is gone. For most of this process I always thought he would stay. Why would he want to wait a week to announce he is staying at Ole Miss. If he was staying it seems like he would want that news out as soon as possible for recruiting purposes. Maybe I’m reading to much into it but I just don’t think he would wait till after the Egg Bowl and cause another week of disruption inside the program unless he is leaving.

Depending on what mitigation verbiage is in Kiffin's contract with Ole Miss, the only option would be to fire him and hope LSU pays the buyout. Without solid mitigation verbiage, Miss has no options.
