Head Coach Emeritus. Let him finish out the season if they beat State and get to the playoffs. You want ratings and attention, there you go.

Damn. Didn’t think the Saban to LSU as DC was going to leak this soon.

I joked about this before.

But, the next evolution of his coaching rehab should be a pool of quality HCs and/or assistants to fill in during these situations. Essentially create a temp service for experienced leadership.

Saban was the goat because players didn't have the ability o move on when feelings got hurt.

Saban asked "is this what you want football to be:"?

and he adjusted. Saban is smart enough to leave a team that may have won it but didn't. I respect him for that.

Any team that goes after him....unless lower level are stupid.

PS - Texas was the only place Saban considered. LSU set him up because of the playerd they produce.

JMHO = so unless Saban wants to diminish his goat status.....then he should go pro.

It’s a good idea. I could actually see Saban doing it just for this run with Ole Miss. It’s a proud school he has respect for that’s totally getting screwed over by one of his former coaches. I could see it eating at him. This is the best season they’ve had in forever. Plus regardless of him losing the first game or whatever it wouldn’t harm his legacy and would only increase it. Also he wouldn’t have to deal with any of the problems he doesn’t like and could just coach a few games and go back to retirement

Saban wouldn’t lower himself to work for someone he fired.
