This kind of feels like an off-week for a lot of SEC programs, with the vast majority playing their annual cupcake before heading into Rivalry Week. There are still some intriguing matchups, and at least a couple that could have a big impact on just who goes to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Here they are:

1. Missouri @ Oklahoma (Noon, ABC)
Beau Pribula is on track to start this weekend in Norman, which would be a massive upgrade over what the Tigers have had at QB since losing him in the Vandy game 4 weeks ago. Oklahoma is in a great spot to clinch a spot in the playoffs as long as they can navigate these last 2 weeks of the season. If Mizzou pulls the upset, the Sooners are likely out.

2. Kentucky @ Vanderbilt (3:30, ESPN)
Hear me out: This game could decide whether Alabama or Georgia goes to the SEC Championship. Obviously, Alabama would need to beat Auburn next week (no small task in Jordan-Hare at night) but if they win out, the tiebreaker scenarios could all hinge around this outcome. Alabama beat Vanderbilt, Georgia beat Kentucky. The opponent win percentage boost each team would get might just make the difference in the end. Theoretically, this should be bad news for UGA, but Cutter Boley and Kentucky have showed up and showed out in their last 2 games. Do they have the Commodores' number this weekend?

3. Tennessee @ Florida (7:30, ABC)
Florida might be the most Jekyll and Hyde team in the SEC this year. Loses to USF, smoked by Kentucky, but manages to push A&M, Ole Miss, and Georgia, then just flat-out beat Texas. Tennessee is a good team and Heupel isn't getting the credit he deserves for turning out an offense this good with a guy that barely went through fall camp at QB. If the right Florida shows up at home, the Vols could be in for a long night. Side note: this game also impacts the opponent win percentage for Georgia and Alabama. If both of the Tennessee teams win this weekend, Alabama will 100% be playing for the chance to go to Atlanta on the Plains next week.

4. Arkansas @ Texas (3:30, ABC)
I tried to gin up some interest for this game outside of just people that just like to see Texas lose, but I couldn't find any. Arkansas has had one of the toughest seasons in recent memory, with 5 of their 8 losses being by 3 or fewer points. In fact, the only bad game they played was against Notre Dame. They are capable of beating Texas. Will they? I doubt it, but with all their preseason hype dead, is Texas looking ahead to ruining A&M's season next week?

Not the greatest week in CFB, but it's not just the SEC's fault. Ohio State has Rutgers, Indiana is off, Texas Tech is off, Notre Dame plays Syracuse... The only somewhat interesting matchup this weekend outside of the SEC is USC going to Oregon or maybe the BYU-Cincy game. Enjoy!

Let’s face it, we’re all gonna be locked in on the Arkansas game to see if the Longhorns get their fourth loss

Because we all want to see their social media, try their hardest to convince everybody that they should still get a playoff spot with four losses

I don't think we deserve a playoff spot even if we win out.

Beat the crap out of Arkansas and Texas A&M and you can bet your butt people will be making the case

And it won’t be a bad case

But nothing you’ve done this year so far would lead anybody to believe that you have the potential to beat the crap out of Arkansas and Texas A&M unfortunately

Four weeks, not three. Vandy game was Oct. 25th. Mizzou had a bye between Vandy and A&M.
