I don't much care why, but a coach being distracted before a game against your biggest rival is bad enough without adding SECC and playoff implications to it, something Fran obviously never had to worry about.

You can take an L as the HC at BAMA. In 2025, he clearly didn’t have the team focused for a road opener in Tallahassee. That game was nowhere near close and FSU flat sucks.
In 2024, the Oklahoma , Michigan, Vandy and slUT games were total shite from beginning to end as well. It’s not so much about the record as how you lose the games you should’ve won.
