No

I get it but that mentality is also why we’re number 10 in the CFP rankings. We schedule tough teams out of conference. While teams like Notre Dame, Ohio State and Indiana cruise to easy wins every week. Everyone gloats over their players because of playing inferior talent while we bash our quarterback and star receiver for not playing perfectly against playoff level competition week in and week out.

We got to play better teams anyway so might as well keep tradition. OSU has to lose to Michigan every year so it’s only fitting that we have our biennial heart attack against Auburn.

I like the idea of moving the game up because it takes the luster and excitement off the game—-for them. Mainly because it’s all about “beating Bama” and it’s what they wait for the entire season and especially when the game is played at Auburn.
