I don’t think you jump them just because you win the championship.
I could be wrong.
I could be wrong.

I couldn't care less to be completely honest. I think teams with byes get hosed to begin with because the higher seed teams in the first round get an on-campus playoff game before playing one of the top seeds at a neutral site. Depending on where the bowl game is played and who the higher-seeded team is, the lower-seeded team could have home field advantage.

They can't win the SEC, they'll have too many loses.
It will be between Ole Miss and aTm. (Assuming they both win out.) Even if aTm loses to Uterus, they'd still be in because Bama has two losses. One in conference and one out of conference, which will be the determining factor in that tiebreaker between aTm and Bama in the CCG.

I’d offer to ban bet for a year, but one of us has shown that their integrity doesn’t matter to them and aren’t a person who keeps their word.

I mean ranked ahead of them in the CFP. We all know you can’t go to Atlanta.
But you have head to head over them and they would have two losses as well as you.
I don’t see the CFP folks ignoring the head to head matchup with both of you with the same amount of losses.

It doesn’t matter as long as we are in.

What are you talking about? If Alabama beats Auburn in two weeks the Tide are in the SEC Championship Game unless chaos ensues.

Based on these rankings, Bama better win out, including SECCG.

Ok, if we win the SEC championship we will indeed jump them. Just look at Miami and Notre Dames current rankings.

I said I could be wrong. It’s just something I’m saying might very well happen. I could see it going either way. You’re not a lock by winning the championship for a bye. I think it’s debatable.

IF Alabama wins out, loses in Atlanta, and gets left out of the CFP as a result, that will be the best possible scenario for the conference going forward. The SEC Championship Game is outdated and needs to die. If the loser of the conference championship game is kept out of the CFP when they would have otherwise been in that will likely signal the death of conference championship games as a whole.

But you're implying with your OP that Bama would have a shot at the Conference Championship game if aTm loses. That's not possible. They would win the tie breaker over Georgia yes, but they still have 1 non con loss that will be a determining factor in a tie breaker on who gets in the CCG and who doesn't. Same goes with Bama vs aTm. If aTm loses to Texas, they still hold the edge over Bama to go on to play Ole Miss (assuming they win out.) If aTm loses to Texas then the SEC would have to decide between UGA and ATM vs Ole Miss in the CCG.

Actually that could happen. If you move up some after Auburn maybe not. If you stay at 10 after Auburn and lose the SEC game I think Miami takes your spot.

But the tiebreaker factor comes into play. You all have 2 loses 1 in conference and 1 out of conference. The other three teams all have 1 loss in conference. (Assuming aTm loses to Texas.)

What? If Aggies lose to Texas they aren’t going to the SEC championship…someone correct me if I am wrong it if I think their opponent win percentage is too low.

Alabama definitely can get in the SEC Championship if A&M loses. Non-conference has nothing to do with it. If Bama beats Auburn, they’re in.

Keep going. Im almost there
If we could simultaneously win the SEC championship AND knock bama out of playoffs AND destroy the BIG 6 AND be SEC champions forever because the championship game is cancelled…..

You need Auburn to beat Bama and State to beat Ole Miss to get in if A&M loses to Texas
