Well that's one coach off the board for SEC teams looking for one.

Good spot for him. If he actually cares, should be able to make the team respectable somewhat quick. If he just wants a paycheck he won’t get many death threats for not trying.

From everything I have heard about James Franklin and his time at Penn State he was actually a really good man who may have probably cared a little too much about making his players better people than better football players. I’m not even saying this is bad before someone jumps down my throat Kirby definitely cares about both but I don’t think Franklin has the ability to install a grit that you need to compete with UGA Bama Oregon Ohio State etc and it’s why he was so bad against these teams.
He will do very well at Va tech in the ACC where the pressure is lower than at PSU where I still believe their standards are delusional
