You can't lose the number of starters and overall talent that they lost from last year's team and still be #1 or even top 5. This was an easy call. They still have a solid team but their Oline is soft and they have no playmakers at WR. The defensive front 6 is not near as good as last year. They'll be better next year.

The only thing surprising about Texas is how below average their Oline play has been. Virtually no running game at times. Really surprising given their recruiting rankings for the last 3 to 4 years.
