The Big 10 still has a chance to get 4 playoff teams...

With the remaining schedules and with the tiebreakers the Big 10 uses they could possibly get 4 teams in the playoff. It seems to be dependent on Michigan upsetting OSU (which they have done a lot lately). If that happens and Indiana doesn't take a huge upset then Indiana would likely play the Oregon - USC winner for the Big 10 Championship.

Michigan will lose to Ohio State (Underwood isn't that great this year)...and Oregon will take care of USC...Big Ten will get three teams.

Most likely scenario but stranger things have happened. Big 10 could also end up with just 2 teams in if USC beats Oregon.

ACC could get 2 teams in

Their champion is in, and Miami has a fairly strong case with big OOC wins against Notre Dame and Florida (admittedly not as impressive this year, but still an SEC win)

It’s not fair, but Miami is a “big brand name” and that is part of the equation, or has been with the selection committee
