That was the defacto championship game. They clobbered the #2 team in the state at their house. They will hammer Pap/LaVista South in the championship game.

Took my daughters to state championship game. It was windy and cold. Thomalla was impressive. He drove the ball into the wind on three 30 yard TD throws in the first quarter. Mizzou commit Isaac Jensen scored on screen and looked like a man among boys blocking. It was 49-0 at half time and the girls called no joy.

Hopefully we get a shot of Thomalla next year. A little concerned Drink lost Marriot to UCF when they already had 2 QBs committed.

Marriott is good, but he is surrounded by offensive talent at Platte County with the top TE in the state, 10.38 100m WR, 10.92 WR, and a 10.72 RB. Platte has only played against one good defense this year. They played against Rockhurst in the district final and he threw 2 picks in the 1st half. Platte came back and won 29-22 they scored with 2 seconds left in the game. Platte might be one of the best teams Missouri has had over the last few years, but he’s not the only reason.

I would take Sidewar over Marriott. Sidewar has had more completions, more yards, and more TD’s against better competition. I don’t know how their arm strength compares, but I bet it is similar

Marriott is not Drew Lock or Blaine Gabbert.

That's cool, I just thought it weird to choose UCF when they have 2 QBs committed already. Dont usually see 3 QBs in a class.

They have a lot of money. It’s the biggest school in the state, a lot of donors, and a great location.

It is kind of strange. I don’t see all 3 signing. He might be trying to get more money from another school

They did lose 1, so they signed 2.

Have you seen Warren play? I know Millard South shut them down hard in the playoff game.

He's 22-3 as a starter with 2 of those losses to Millard South. Those two games are the only games I've seen him live in. He was playing vs a team that just put 20 kids into college football programs, 10 of which were D1. He was under duress in both games but made several great throws. He is quicker than fast and moves great in the pocket. Makes all the on and off platform throws and places it well. His arm is comparable to Thomalla's but Thomalla had a far better team around him.
