Does anyone else in the country have 3 road wins over ranked teams?

Or, are the Texas Aggies all alone with that distinction?

You only have 1 ranked win on the season.

The other 2 were apparently over-rated as they are no longer ranked.

LSU and Missouri are not ranked.

Does LSU get to pretend it beat #4 Clemson while Clemson gets to pretend one of it's losses was to #9 LSU?

Or do we just maybe stop being lame and realize - those teams were just over-rated and there is a reason the rankings update every week.

I wish we could count LSU as a ranked win. But they weren’t ranked.

So, I guess we should edit stats like this after the final polls?

A&M didn't actually beat a Top 10 team on the road since they dropped in the polls afterwards.

Lots of editing will need to be done across the board.

Those kinds of things are just trivia type stats for the media to hype. If you want to talk about actual accomplishments, then we should be real about the actual strength of teams.

And it works both ways. You can play a team that isn't ranked at the time, and then suddenly we find out - oh this team is actually pretty good. Should you not get credit for playing what was actually a great team simply because the voters under-ranked a team that week?

I'd love for Mizzouri to still be ranked, it was previously a ranked win for Alabama. "4 ranked teams in a row" if you want the trivia. Not so much in reality. Some of that due to QB injuries, but it was likely going to happen anyway on their schedule.

Why update the rankings every week if we are just going to keep using the previous errors?

Look A&M, I am cheering for you. That being said, you guys have worse luck than my Vols. You should probably be quiet for a few weeks.

I'm just a random fan on a message board. My inputs have little, if any effect on the grand scheme of things.

Everybody is hating on the Ags schedule and I felt like bringing some levity.

Wow. You guys are so new at being worth a shite at this time of the year, you really do have no clue how the whole "ranked wins" thing actually works.

Yeah, it doesn't really get summed much better than that. Hope this clears things up for you.

This is usually a criteria for playoff selections that they talk about all year . First time watching football?

Nothing wrong with this at all. I look forward to see how this season shakes out, at the end. Texas is playing well, and it will be a game..

And throughout history. Teams are who they are when you play them and have been forever.

It's only on tRant and only for A&M that the rules have to be rewritten so that the brain trust here can cope with its collective short penis syndrome.

Eh. I couldn't care less about A&M's schedule. It will all work itself out in the SECCG and playoffs. A&M did not make out their SEC schedule...but they did schedule a top 10 out of conference opponent and beat them. Kudos for them....and stop worrying about trolls and what trolls say.
