Decided that the Horns aren’t beating UGA. The yuuuge question is will the playoff committee allow a three loss Texas in if they win vs Arky and A&M? I think they will. A third loss might kill other programs but not every program carries the cache that Texas does.

In that scenario you’d have Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas, A&M and Georgia in. Oklahoma would need some help.

If there’s an argument it would be 3 loss Texas.

3 top 10 wins and loss against number 1 osu. If you don’t give credit for scheduling difficult ooc the ADs will stop doing it, tv viewership suffers, and the networks lose money. It’s really that simple.

Of all years this is the one that a 3 loss team has argument. Like it or not Texas also has name recognition and manning. That absolutely shouldn’t matter but this is a subjective ranking system that has to produce money, period.

Every 2 loss team competing for a playoff spot is likely going to have a blemish.

Yes bad loss followed by 3 very good wins. Depends on what the committee cares about.

Compare 2 loss resumes I am not saying Texas is a lock but to slide into that last spot, they have an argument. The G5 thing is absolutely ridiculous. If they aren’t in the top 20 better luck next year should be the rule

You almost lost Kentucky and then you almost lost to Mississippi State after losing to Florida

Those aren’t 3 good wins

You have 1 and that’s OU

Did you even read the OP statement? Clearly said if Texas beats ATM. Thus THREE good wins: OU, Vandy, and ATM.

Didnt ATM barely beat arky by 3? Should we penalize atm? Texas beat msu and Kentucky on the road, something I was and have still
Been told isn’t easy in the sec.

I’ve spent the last couple of days being told by horn fans that A&M wins over ranked teams on the road don’t count as wins over ranked teams on the road because those teams have fallen out of rankings.

I am looking forward to this game. I don’t care who wins. I hate them both.

What is your point?

If OU and Vandy win out (even if they lose) Texas likely has 3 wins against top 20 teams.

What teams was I counting that support your argument? Your win against ND is a good win.

You said yall would have three top 10 wins. Is that true. Was your win against OU a top 10 win?

You dorks said this daily at the end of last year when we had like 5 wins against ranked teams. Giving you the same treatment isn't fair?

I was assuming they win out, hence why I added if they lose it’s 3 top 20 wins.

Texas isn't beating A&M so don't worry about it. I'm looking forward to Texas dropping the next 3 so we can hear about how crappy A&M's schedule was some more.
