BK wants all his money. And he damn sure ought to get it.

LSU is broke. In all ways.

We are witnessing the fall of a program (the likes of which) we have never seen. This is a pillar of college football about to come crashing down to the ground. SMU and Nebraska hold nothing up to what is about to befall the legendary LSU program.

Now on to important stuff. Namely, the College Football TV Schedule that is posted every year, and tRant. LSU sponsors both of these. Will these stay around? I am concerned.

Why, LSU's daddy, of course. The walking dog in the SEC.

Alabama.

I know you are tRanting so I understand.

LSU, IMO, was probably too quick to let go of Kelly- and that is on Kelly in a lot of ways. Had Kelly fired the coaches Woodward wanted gone he is still coaching at LSU. Now, why is the premature termination bad? Kelly by nearly all accounts was a POS of a person and frankly not an ELITE coach.

The issue I see is that coaches will see that LSU is awfully quick to pull the trigger on head coaches. I think LSU will suffer for it in the short term/mid term time frame, but LSU will continue to be on the cusp of relevance with respect to the CFP. The talent out of the state is terrific and LSU gets more than their share of the recruits they need out of it. Plus, they do have the NIL backers who are willing to pay the dollars needed.

LSU may wander in the desert for a bit, the 7-5 or 8-4 area as penance for their coaching sins but they won't fall off like SMU or Nebraska.
