I think this and I'm not sure I've seen it anywhere..... I think Saturday was a clear message about how the SEC feels about BP. It was clear early we weren't getting a significant call.
It was also clear he didn't say any of the magic words to get the unsportsmanlike conduct on the coach which should have been a sideline warning first, not an automatic flag.
The two unsportsmanlikes on Rhodes were totally bogus.

Next to last drive, 8 yard gain, holding on the pulling guard, SHOW ME THE HOLD.... you can't find it because he wasn't holding.... what DID happen however was a MSU player launch and hit Green as he was sliding AFTER he had begun his slide which should have been 15 yards. Would have been ballgame.
Not to mention the pancake by Carmona on Washingtons 14 yd run that was called a hold.
We won't even begin to talk about Rhodes' takedown of the RB even though there wasn't an audible whistle .....
The complete absence of MSU penalties was laughable. Watch their last drive and tell me our DE's didn't get held multiple times.....

It was clear that the SEC was sending a message to us that BP isn't welcome here anymore.

And of course we are the peon and nothing will be done...

I think it's more about keeping Arkansas in our place. We're a auto win for their chosen teams. They let Freese come back.

I say "F$%k'em" and we sue the shite out of them if they continue that egregious shite. Nothing scares them more than lawsuits. Sue the individual refs as well. Investigate for game fixing.

Burn the mf'er down if they're going to be like that. They've screwed us over via officiating forever. Giving in won't change it.

I think our problem boils down to Taylen. Whenever teams have to worry about our run game and our zone read game we are deadly because something is open. But we are horrible in 2 minute situations or really any obvious passing situation. When teams know we’re passing and don’t have to worry about the run we have not been able to score all season.

Truth.

And that speaks to him struggling with progressions. Case in point. Sure, checkdowns keep you alive... but in the final minute seconds are precious... if no one is open, throw it away, don't hit Washington covered in the flat for 3 yards and have to burn your first timeout. Throw it out of bounds or take off running and get 10 and then call timeout.
He goes in total panic mode. I'm sure he was told not to scramble, but throwing the checkdown inbounds was equally bad, maybe worse. He could have picked up decent yardage on a scramble.

Just noticed it was same crew that had Auburn/OU and Tenn/Bama

interesting that all of those games seemed to have a clear agenda.

Looks like the conference has their group of "fixers".

Jeff Heaser is the Head official in case you want to look it up.

It requires more complexity to reason from bad calls due to incompetence to bad calls due to intent. It's simpler to mostly blame Green not knowing when to pick a guy and let it fly or pull it down and go to town. Instead of yelling at the refs, Bobby should yell 3 Mississippi at his QB.

not really. look at the discrepancy between the flags on the two teams. That's not incompetence, that's intent bro.
Watch MSU's last drive and tell me you can't pick out a hold on every pass play?

I see your point and share your mistrust of refs, but can't confirm what they were thinking. I can confirm their incompetence plus Green's indecisiveness. So, Occam's razor...

Fair point. I don't know what they were thinking either but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck......
