I don’t really understand the State….They are pretty much the only big time program I can think of, but they just never seem to be more than fools gold.

Seems like their starting QB gets hurt every freaking year.

Well they do have that coveted indoor track national championship from 1954. Who wouldn’t call that a break through

There’s my little bitch.

Please provide ONE example of a Mizzou fan who’s ever said Mizzou is elite on the site.

I’ll wait.

You laugh, but we ask the same question.

The program is much improved over the past two decades with room to grow. I’ve noticed a big increase in media and fan interest in the St. Louis region since the Rams left.

When did NIL and the transfer portal rule changestarted? Since.it started a couple of years ago Mizzoi has been winning 9-10 regular season games. This year the team is better than last year. Still making some mistakes. Drinkwitz is a perfect coach for Missouri and is in the right Culture fit. Drinkwitz wouldn't be the right fit for LSU. Florida is questionable because most Florida fans do not want him at Florida.

Also, trolling aside, does the SEC benefit if/when Mizzou wins conference titles or makes the playoffs?

yah, we ask the same question all the time. the year before the twelve team playoff began, we were not ranked highly enough to get into the four team playoff, but would have been in a 12 team playoff. the two seasons we've had the 12 team playoff, we are playing just poorly enough to be on the bubble and not get in.

being a mizzou and chiefs fan these recent years has caused some whiplash from one team that always does just enough to lose the really important games and another that always finds a way to win

I think a big part of it is the state of Missouri doesn't produce a lot of elite level recruits out of high school. Why that is, I do not know.
