Bama fans, would you rather face Frank Wilson or BK?

Obviously youre getting Wilson, but the coaching search has completely taken over the board. Lets discuss.

Do you think LSU is more dangerous now without the cancerous blight ?

I think this will be a tight game tbh. Im not expecting a win, but i am expecting the sideline to not be a miserable barren wasteland of sadness.

Line opened at Bama -5.5 and has since moved to -12.

Unfortunately for Nuss or QB2, Bama's edge dudes will be spending more time in the backfield than Cashius.

Haven't really thought about it with the bye week.

May I chime in here? I think the only advantage to Wilson is that he may decide to play your QB2, who seems like a damn good running QB, over Nuss. That could cause some defensive breakdowns for Bama. That being said, a good bit of your players are likely checked out and Bama will roll. That's just the nature of a coaching change.

However, I would love to see an LSU win here. I just don't think it's in the cards.

The second Van Buren came into the game he rushed for a 1st. And thats all we cared about. I think BK took a fat shite on Nuss and maybe ruined him.

Is this a Sonic situation?

I really have nothing against either to make it that personal.

But, gun to my head... BK. Frank is younger and in better shape.

Possibly.

I think LSU has an advantage here because no one knows how they'll operate under Atkins.

Even if Nuss stays the starter, they'll assuredly have packages for VB.

People say 2 weeks isn't enough time to install a new offense, but OU basically did that during their bye week before playing us last year.

It'll be interesting to see how much Atkins changes the offense (if at all). With his FSU ties, I'm sure he'll be studying the Bama-FSU tape and probably chatting with Norvell and Gus.

I think Nuss did that to himself. He should have gone to the NFL. Now the best he can hope for is the CFL.

Will say the running game finally came on with Harlem Berry. LSU looked improved for 30 minutes.

But BK is flat out retarded and stopped running him in the second half. God i fricking hate that guy.

Player reaction was largley positive. Even a few parents were coming out about BK being a massive pile of cow shite.

Yes. Im sure Bama didnt expect to struggle win vs South Carolina either.

The manchild is gone. Our game was a means to an end, and you guys held up your end. Moving on.

I know there’s a limited amount of changes that you can implement in two weeks, but with a new head guy and new OC there’s always a worry about the unknown.

On the other hand, you wonder LSU’s guys will play hard or simply mail it in for the rest of the season.

Personally, I’d rather face a known commodity.

If Frank Wilson has the sack to bench Nuss, a lot will become clear very quickly.

I don’t know about the team, but most of the fans at least here certainly did. If you’d have read the Bama board that week, you’ll see most of us were calling it the perfect trap game.

The line hasn’t opened yet. -5.5 was a pre-season look ahead line, and -12 is a FanDuel early line - which is more accurate than the -5.5 but still isn’t a Vegas opening line.

To answer your question, my biggest concern is the fact that all the trend data has to be tossed. Down/distance, run/pass splits, personnel trends, etc. All of that is now useless. So how do you prep your defense & defensive play calling for that? I honestly have no idea.

Less than ideal.
