One of these is not like the others. I guess the nepo baby gets his since it's his family's namesake. He's the only one listed that didn't actually win the game for his team. I guess almost losing to a team that hasn't won an SEC game this season is...award-worthy?

Bear Bachmeier, BYU (22-of-35, 356 total yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT, QBR: 84.3)
Bachmeier, who notched his second 300-yard passing game (307) of the year while posting career bests for completions and attempts, scored on a nine-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to put the Cougars on top for good in a 41-27 Big 12 road win over Iowa State.

Kyron Drones, Virginia Tech (9-of-18, 256 total yards, 5 TDs, 1 INT, QBR: 86.9)
Drones, who passed for 119 yards and runs for 137, connected on a 44-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and then ran for a 14-yard TD in the fourth to help the Hokies reach overtime, where he ran for another score before throwing the game-winning TD pass in a 42-34 ACC win over California.

Mason Heintschel, Pittsburgh (28-of-48, 430 total yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT, QBR: 83.8)
Heintschel, who notched a career-best 84-yard touchdown pass and set the school record for passing yards by a freshman (423), became the first ACC freshman in 30 years to throw for 400 yards and three TDs in a game as he led the Panthers to a 53-34 win over NC State in ACC action.

Haynes King, Georgia Tech (25-of-31, 395 total yards, 5 TDs, 0 INT, QBR: 93.2)
King, who passed for a season-best 304 yards and three touchdowns, also ran for 91 yards and two scores while setting the school-record for single-game completion percentage (30 attempts) to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 41-16 ACC win over Syracuse as they improved to 8-0 for the first time since 1966.

Brendon Lewis, Memphis (27-of-44, 342 total yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT, QBR: 58.0)
Lewis, who threw for a career-high 307 yards, passed for 148 yards and ran for 46 more in the fourth quarter alone as he led the Tigers to 17 unanswered points, including a 10-yard touchdown pass with 1:07 to go, in a 34-31 come-from-behind win over No. 18 South Florida in American action.

Arch Manning, Texas (29-of-46, 352 total yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT, QBR: 57.1)
Manning, who had career-bests in completions, attempts, and passing yards (346), helped the Longhorns to 17 unanswered points in the final 9:34 of regulation to force overtime where they upended Mississippi State, 45-38.

Drew Mestemaker, North Texas (37-of-49, 608 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT, QBR: 42.0)
Mestemaker, who delivered three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown on the first drive of the game, finished with a school and American Conference record 608 passing yards, the first 600-yard game in the FBS since 2020, as the Mean Green rolled to a 54-20 conference road win over Charlotte.

Marcel Reed, Texas A&M (12-of-21, 310 total yards, 4 TDs, 2 INT, QBR: 92.4)
Reed, who passed for 202 yards and two touchdowns, also ran for 108 yards and two scores to become the first Aggie to run and pass for multiple touchdowns since 2012 as he led the Aggies to 35 straight points to turn a halftime deficit into a 49-25 rout of No. 20 LSU in an SEC road game.

There's a big LOL story behind Haynes King. But it's old news.

Yeah, the last name helps but the name didn’t throw 17 unanswered points in the 4th.

Texas was cooked, and Arch kept them alive. That’s not “nepo,” that’s clutch, even if it’s the only time he’s shown it so far this season.

Arch would sailed Caldwell's winning TD toss into the stands.

By far the weirdest game of the day. Texas up 14-7, State runs off 24 straight, big lead in the 4th. Niblett punt return was awesome to watch, even if not a UT fan. What a momentum changer

Aggie had the same punt return - almost a duplicate play.

I honestly have no clue why teams kick to him. I feel like Sark owes Lebby a Christmas gift after that play.

We probably still beat OU without his punt return for a TD but the game would have been much closer. We definitely don't beat Kentucky without his punt return to the 5 yard line and we likely lose to State without his punt return TD. He's averaging over 21 yards a return. Sadly we didn't force Florida to punt very often and they only kicked it to Niblett once.. Good old SBB lost his job but made the key calls to save the game for Florida.
