What's our RB situation?

Clearly, Moss is out for a few more weeks, but I don't think it's hurt us much. I'd rather have him later at 100% than to try to bring him back early.

Owens didn't get many carries, so I'm wondering if he's banged-up a little.

Jamarion Morrow continues to impress. Just looked up his stats and he's 19-for-109 (5.7 avg.) with 4 catches for 65 yards (16.3 avg.) with 3 TDs total.

Does anyone have any insight on the statuses of Moss and Owens? It seems that Morrow has now surpassed Daniels and Smith, so he may be the go-to guy now.

Moss is predicted to be back by Texas. Everyone seems to think Owens is fine.

Good. If Owens is healthy I think we can get through Mizzou, SCAR, and Samford without him. Just need him back for Texas and a potential SECCG and playoffs.

I said it before but Moss going down this year is so much different than last cause Owens is back and healthy. And the emergence of Murrow also takes some of that workload. Daniels is still a talented back and so is EJ. They need to hold Moss out and make sure he comes back 100% healthy

I dont want Moss even sniffing the field until he is 100%

Save him for a playoff game if we make it that far

I’m perfectly ok with him sitting out the rest of the regular season

I don’t want to sound too optimistic, but there’s a chance that the Thanksgiving game means nothing to us at all except for our pride

And if that’s the case, I wouldn’t care if Elko rests everybody, the last thing I would want is for a top player or any player to get injured in a game that is meaningless

The good news is that depth is getting better.

Morrow, Smith, and Daniels are all running hard right now. Daniels leveled a safety down near the goal line in the second half. Smith didn’t get much run vs LSU but will be needed vs Mizzou.

Goal line carries will go to… TE Nate Boerkircher… who knew…

I wince to say it but I think Moss being out is growing to be a blessing as it is unfortunate for Moss and team. I'll caveat by saying I don't ever wish injury upon any college athlete and especially our own.

But this team and coaching staff are learning how to lean on our offense without a sure-fire back in Moss to depend on. This will make us a more rounded and dangerous team when Moss comes back in a few weeks.

Feed Morrow, Smith, and Daniels. The more they are fed each game the better they will get each game and the more our passing will open up

We’re better with Moss healthy, period.

You make a good point.

I would be thrilled to have Moss back though.

Yeah i look forward to his return and hope it's in time for our trip to Austin. Seeing this offense firing on all cylinders will be something to behold with him back in the lineup.

Following up. I like what Daniels, Smith, and Morrow are doing. Pass blocking, tough physical running, catching the ball. They (along with the whole team) have really stepped up their focus and effort into becoming some tough dudes.

Sadly with our draw in SEC play, 1 loss will relegate us out of the top 2 positions. If we want Atlanta, we must win them all.

We could also lose one, miss Atlanta, and still very likely get a bye at 11-1. But I'd rather make the CCG.

At 11-1 or you expect us to lose 2?

If we go 11-1, are are pretty much guaranteed to miss the SECCG on tie breakers.

We might be ahead of Ole Miss but UGA and Bama would be ahead of us.

I didn’t think about UGA, you’re right.
