LSU should have never fired Coach O.

Lsu fans will say otherwise on here, but deep down, they know it's true.

If O wouldn’t have fell apart at the seams he would still be here. He got lazy and complacent after 2019, then the wife situation really screwed him up. He had girlfriends showing up at practice, recruiting dropped off a cliff.

Coach O was the perfect coach for LSU is SOO MANY ways. It would be curious to see how he would of done in the NIL/portal era. Still 1000x better than BK. At least O wanted to be at LSU.

The dude fired himself. He won a Natty and gave up. His girlfriend's kids were running practice while O was sipping Mai Tai's at the pool with his hooker.

Eh, everyone wanted O to stay for a long time, and we all wish he were still the coach. But pretty much everyone agrees that he had to go, that’s how bad things went for him less than 2 years after a natty. The RTWFY speech felt like him taking over college football and then 2020 Moo State happened

He was one year removed from a title, but he was more interested in fake blondes by then, so maybe it was okay. The issue was hiring a coach that had never won a significant game ever.

I went thru a divorce, so I get how it can make you crazy, especially if your ex put you though the ringer mentally.

But on the flip side, once I found my current wife, my life stabilized SIGNIFICANTLY. I'm better in every regard now.

I guess what I'm saying is time heals all wounds? But coaches don't always have time in CFB,,,

Well, who's who is debatable with how much his ex-wife took him for...

Orgeron was not fit to run a program.

However, in today's landscape, if you had a GM like Andrew Luck, at Stanford, who is over the coach in the organizational chart, you could probably get away with Orgeron being the face of the program, handling recruiting, and acting as the liason between the coordinators (who would be hired by the GM with the coach's input).

LSU just fired the winningest coach in college football because 9-3 9-3 8-4 isn’t good enough at LSU.

Arkansas would give the man a lifetime contract. And look how long it took Napier to get canned.

Implode… lol. These days with the transfer portal, teams bounce back incredibly quickly.

I think it’s time to get the gang back together again: Lane, O and Frank Wilson. Would be lit.

You obviously know absolutely nothing about why he was fired.

Only a dumb Lsu fan( and there are many) that still believe that Orgeron should be coach. Deep down even they know the reasons why he was fired and the reasons that he needed to be fired.
