Will LSU go the way of Auburn and Florida if they fire Brian Kelly.

These coaching changes rarely work out. Look at what happened at Tennessee, Michigan, Auburn & Florida…

LSU may set themselves back 5-10 years looking for a needle in the haystack coach.

Doubt LSU does what UF did and hire coaches that didn't belong on the SEC level and are bad fits.

That was UF's problem.

Sumral sounds like a slam dunk for what they are allegedly looking for.

The barn is working on their 5th straight losing season.

That takes dedication.

Our ceiling for the next three years under Kelly would have been 8-4 at best.

With the portal and NIL these coaches will be in a short leash. You don’t get to 4/5 years any longer to get a playoff contender. This isn’t the 90s and 2010s.
I think the way to go is hire coordinators for a cheaper price. Invest in NIL and set contracts as incentive based such as making playoffs and how far you go. Win a NC and we can talk about making you the highest paid coach
