How many of those 80- 100 million dollar deals work out in the long run? Just curious, maybe, but looks like future sec schedules will be tough, every team will play 4,5,6 teams maybe more that are just as talented. Paying out that kind of money before winning even an SEC title is a huge bet, nothing but National championships will be accepted. Lose one game those lizards will go nuts.

This is me thinking out loud..

What has Lane done to prove he’s worthy of that pay day? He’s definitely entertaining, he’ll fit in with the loud mouth Yankees that make up the UF fan base!

I think the money is better spent on players if you don't have a potential goat like we have.

Kiffin has been by far the best Ole Miss coach since segregation.

And he also gaurantees a lot of points on offense, which is what Florida has been craving and considers to be part of their identity.

I have seen speculation he will get 13 million or more. Doesnt Kirby get 13,5?

He is very good but hes no where near Kirby

If Kirby announced he was considering offers, he'd have bids for $20 million by the end of the week. As long as the stock market continues to inflate at an absurd rate, player and coach salaries will continue to soar, at least at the high end. If our financial grand poobahs ever pull the plug, you'll see an abrupt change.
