What are the pros and cons.
I'm seeing mostly cons when considering national title chances.
This really helps ND, the 3-4 good teams in the B1G and the ACC 3 (Miami/CLEM/FSU).

He was doing this before the ridiculous expansion to 12 CFP teams.

It is a disaster and only hurts the SEC, while dramatically helping the big and ND.

I thought the pros were the time taking for rematches (that so many complained about).
The cons, which still exist, is the “every other year 5A games”.
I’ll admit belonging in the group confused about why Tn., Aub., & LSU were being rejected as “must play teams” back then.
