Seaborn has 5
Arnold has 4
Seaborn has only played 1 game in JH.
Seaborn is still in HS now for you Auburn fans that have no clue about recruiting. He just committed to Alabama.
Friday Seaborn got beat again
Hoover 33
Thompson 30
55 fg as time expired.

Right now I'd take Hoover's FG kicker over a 2027 QB.
Can early enrollees play in December?

I don’t follow much recruiting, but I know the game you are talking about. Won the 7A Championship as an eight grader.

Yes, and he's started ever since.
8th grade -> Won Class 7A state championship
9th grade -> Lost in Class 7A state championship
10th grade -> Won Class 7A state championship
11th grade -> TBD (current season)
12th grade -> TBD

Thompson moved him in from Colorado. In the past 10 years every Thompson qb except 1 has been a transfer. Tua's little brother first wanted to attend Hoover but Hoover had a returning starter.

Damn maybe Auburn should hire Thompson’s HC.

It's wild how all of those elite SEC athletes just happen to live in the exact same small rural suburb on the south side of Birmingham.

Outside of Saban best recruiter in Alabama history. Thompson has an open account with uhaul. Freeman wins only if he has a overwhelming talent advantage.

Crazy season for Thompson.
3 losses:
Lost by 1 in OT (went for 2) to Grayson, GA - #3 team in the country
Lost by 4 to Clay-Chalkville, #23 team in the country
Lost by 3 to Hoover, #55 team in the country
Their wins, OTOH, are by an average of 45 - 5 (average 40 point margin of victory)

Freeman always loses close games yearly. They have 3x the talent as Hoover. Those old Propst teams beat these current Hoover teams in blowouts.

Starting since 8th grade...kid has to have a shot at alot of state passing records.
Glad he committed to Bama...would like to get the Rivers kid too since we'll take 2 in the class.

Without a doubt.
Hoover's ascent eventually led to increased competition in the region (which is the dominant one in Alabama), which in turn took away and spread out their talent advantage, especially as Thompson started pulling elite players south.
But schematically I'm not sure anyone is advanced as Propst was, relative to the current era. For all his faults (and there were a lot), he was a high school Steve Spurrier.

I lived in Hoover then. Hoover outside of Alabama and Auburn was the biggest thing in the state. Propst is a crazy man off the field with women trouble etc but if he did not have those issues he would have been a SEC HC at some point.
Hoover was a college like program then. Propst coached circles around those other guys then.
