Just like Arkansas, always dangerous. Although Petrino isn’t coaching their offense so is we get their defense gassed early we have a shot at opening it up. The same can be said the other way too but our kids have been punched in the mouth early several games now and still got the job done.

LSU still has the talent to play with anyone in the country. This will completely depend on what version of LSU and Nuss shows up. We’ve been consistent all year, but we’ll see if we can maintain our composure in the hostile environment of a Death Valley night time game. Color me skeptical as we have yet to successfully climb that hill since joining the SEC. I think this is our toughest game left.

I think this one has the most potential to be a loss, for our 0-4 crowd. Regardless of how LSU has looked they’re still talent, and DV is a tough place to go into and win at night. Don’t kid yourselves, this is a rivalry game and if you think they aren’t talking all week about knocking us off you’re wrong.

I think everyone is looking at LSU and their performances up to this point and forgetting how talented they are. This is gonna be their superbowl to ruin our undefeated run. It’s also a place we haven’t won at since 94, this is our toughest road test of the 3 imo

This is true. However Nuss hasn’t been right all year. Our OL is terrible. Our LT will probably be out which means Chester, possibly the worst LSU OL i’ve seen in my life will start. Our run game has kind of found something but still isn’t trustworthy and Durham is dinged again. Our secondary is pretty good (Delane is outstanding) but the unit as a whole kinda got exposed yesterday. Whit Weeks isn’t 100% and we still can’t really defend a mobile QB.

DV isn’t at all what it used to be. The atmosphere is watered down with piped in music and those stupid lights. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if yall finally break the streak. I do expect us to lick our wounds and play with some fire but i think something broke yesterday.

Safe travels to everyone heading to BR. Ironically i’ll be in south texas next weekend.

I’m from south Louisiana and all of my LSU friends are saying it’s a lock for A&M. I’m calling bullshite, I don’t care how either team has performed thus far. It’s a night game in BR, all bets are off. They are going to come in hot so we need to be laser focused. I believe this will be our toughest road game of the year. Feed Owens and Smith, the more reps they get the better they are. I also liked the sprinkle of jet sweeps. The better we do short field, the more comfortable Reed will get with stretching the field

If you go to Tiger Rant, your BAS/hope complex will go into overdrive. One of their starting OL is out, and they’re all talking about how they won’t be able to stop our pass rush.

I want to be optimistic so badly.

This is the week I don’t get optimistic. I think this week will require a complete game from the team

Maybe getting our asses handed to us defensively is exactly what we needed.

That Arkansas QB is legit, and our defense shut them down until the last 2 minutes of the half

Also, the last touchdown doesn’t count for squat. There was 10 seconds left on the clock and it was a 10 point lead.

The guys were told just keep the clock running and don’t get hurt

Looks like Arkansas game thread is locked.

Smith doesn’t have to be the game breaker, speed guy. We have a stable of RBs.

But Smith can be the short yardage guy. Or just the control the clock guy, if he continues to break tackles.

I agree about the garbage time TD.

But it’s the 2-minute meltdown that’s concerning.

I don’t get it, but I think chicken has told the board moderators to do everything to create new topic/threads whenever possible

The two minutes or once another team becomes desperate. Those are the most difficult times, teams take chances they wouldn’t normally take.

It’s a fascinating part of the game of football to be honest, you can have teams not score a touchdown an entire game after several to eight minute drives, but let them be down six points and all of a sudden they look like they can’t be stopped in a two minute drill

NFL works the same way. A tired defense versus a desperate offense running plays that they have practiced over and over for that specific purpose, to go down and score in the shortest amount of time possible

Makes the game fun my amigo

Not sure it matters how they are looking at it. Green hurt us by running wild. He made individual plays on his own. Dude is elusive and fast. Nuss is neither.

Hogs RBs were a load. LSU not so much.

Hogs Oline is not bad, LSU Oline is not good at all. Also, just announced starting tackle is out this week.

Ags defense has all kinds of advantages over an LSU offense that is not physical at all.

I like our offense vs LSU.

Our offense will move and score. Their secondary is their defensive strength but they aren’t elite by any stretch. No reason why we don’t score in the 30s unless we shoot ourselves in the foot often.

On the road. At night. This is a game where A&M will need the ground game to convert.
