3 Auburn coaches in their careers had losing records at home.

Earl Brown 1-3-1
Harsin 6-7
Freeze 9-10

Have been since 2021. I said we would become Tennessee. We have become worse. Hope it was worth it. I have a bad feeling that it is going to continue for a few more years

There’s no chance it can get better until we rip off the current Bandaid. Even then it’s a crap shoot with the next hire. But we can’t keep going down the current road. It’s quite obviously a dead end.

Go get Lane Kiffin. The dude is coaching his arse off at Ole Miss but he’s hit a ceiling there.

Been like that since 2010 really with only 2 decent years in there (2013, 2017).

We've been bad for pretty much 15 years.

Rhino, we are not getting Kiffin bro. And if you were him, would you even entertain the notion?

Auburn is not some blueblood school that can just go out and grab great coaches. Its history is the proof. Which is why we are stuck with this fake arse preacher and why we had the potato head gang after making the mistake in 2020.

Id love to think we will fire Hugh, go out and have a good coaching search and bring in a guy who will put the wheels back on and get us back to winning some games.

My confidence is about the same as us winning out the season

We are going to hurt. And we will hurt together.

If he leaves, it won't be for Auburn. He's already proven that.

This modern game needs guys with good plans, not "schemes", not four/five year "processes", but ways to make the best use of the talent you can buy.

That's probably not going to be name coaches. It's going to be identifying coaching talent, hiring an off the field staff to scout and identify top talent and out together plans to get the best use of that talent. NFL style. There are few "Sabans" in the NFL... it's about players. That's where college football is now.

I wish we had a stronger AD than Cohen, but with our PTB... that will likely never happen. Hopefully we've learned some lessons, however, this time around.

Thats not really true. Other than those two years, we were living what Auburn has lived for 50 years. The biggest difference is that our two biggest rivals turned into the best two teams in college football and the jealousy made us stupid

My man Lanier, I think Kiffin wants to win a championship. I truly believe that and I don’t think Ole Miss has the resources to make that happen, whereas Auburn does.

I agree.

I will agree with that as well

Here is where we seperate. Not any more

Kiffin may leave Ole Miss but it will be a upgrade. We are no longer a upgrade from Ole Miss.

Just the fact that we hired Hugh Freeze, who was fired at Ole Miss for , well you know what he did., proves that we are a very desperate program

My son said he’s seen us win like 4 sec games at home in 4 years of college. Terrible!

We still have the fanbase packing stadiums so I respectfully disagree that we can’t get back to 2010, 2013 levels.

Yep, hard to get the next generation of kids into Auburn football right now. Nothing exciting.

He isn't coming to Auburn....

Fans need to accept that our next hire will be a coordinator we get from somewhere

5 loss seasons are pretty much a failure right? We had five 5+ loss seasons from 2011 to 2016.

Why do you think we were better from 2011 to 2016 than we've been the last 6 years?

I don't see it record wise.

2011: 8-5
2012: 3-9
2013: 12-2
2014: 8-5
2015: 7-6
2016: 8-5
2017: 10-4
2018: 8-5
2019: 9-4
2020: 6-5
2021: 6-7
2022: 5-7
2023: 6-7
2024: 8-5.

Auburn football will be in the SEC cellar for years to come I'm afraid.

It isn't gonna get better.

a 5 loss season is Auburns historical average. For Auburn, 8-5 is not failure. It is reality. We would need 4 forfeits this year to win 8 games

What is a failure is what has happened since 2021. 3 straight years starting the SEC 0-4. We are 3-4 and our 3 wins are Baylor and two rent a wins

Pathetic. That is failure

Maybe we can but packing stadiums does not put points on the board. We are bad. Way worse than some of you realize and its not getting better any time soon

You should prepare to hurt more.

Agreed. I’m not sure why people keep obsessing over him. He’s captured more headlines for his failures than successes.
