Maybe the best weekend of the year so far with a ton of good games spread out over a fall Saturday in the south. Enjoy!
1. Ole Miss @ Georgia (3:30, ABC)
Who needs this one more? Pretty sure the answer is the Dawgs, but Lane Kiffin can prove this is finally the team that's ready to make a real run at a championship. Georgia already has one loss at home, can they afford another one? Is Lane Kiffin's daughter dating a Georgia player too? High drama in Athens makes this a can't miss game.
2. Tennessee @ Alabama (7:30, ABC)
Folks outside of the SEC don't truly understand the level of hate between the Tide and Vols. Tennessee can score with anybody, can the Alabama defense get enough stops? Will the mustard remain holstered if the refs get involved? Alabama's a walking triage unit right now, with Jam Miller out and Ryan Williams banged up, just to name a few. One thing is for sure: Kalen Deboer better be wearing a black hoodie.
3. LSU @ Vanderbilt (Noon, ABC)
The Tigers roll into Nashville as the underdogs in this game. Vandy is in the midst of what could be their best season in program history. LSU isn't exactly impressing, but they're winning, improving, and hopefully getting healthy. Firstbank Stadium (had to Google it) should be jumping. Hearing rumors that the losing coach has to go to Penn State.
4. Oklahoma @ South Carolina (12:45, SECN)
The Gamecocks walked into Norman and whipped the Sooners last year. This seems to be a spot where Oklahoma would return the favor, but John Mateer just threw another pick on the way to the bus. South Carolina is not having the season they wanted but win this one and it's entirely possible that everything is still in front of them.
5. Missouri @ Auburn (7:45, SECN)
Tiger on Tiger crime is going down on the Plains Saturday night. Mizzou comes in off a loss to Alabama and Auburn is still having to be held back from fighting the refs. Honestly, this could be a total meltdown by Auburn or another example of the Jordan-Hare voodoo. Either way, I'm picking the Tigers.
6. Texas @ Kentucky (7, ESPN)
Allow Arch to reintroduce himself. The former Heisman frontrunner and current Warby Parker spokesman had himself a game in the RRS and will look to restart the hype with an easy day at Kroger field. Unless Stoops does that thing where he randomly beats a good team right when it looks like he's going to get fired. But that wouldn't happen two years in a row, right?
7. Texas A&M @ Arkansas (3:30, ESPN)
For a little while last week, it looked like the old Bobby P was about to ride back into town with a hot blonde secretary hanging off the back of his Harley. He just didn't quite have the horses to get Tennessee but I promise the Vols don't wanna see them again. A&M is the best SEC team right now, however, and the Aggies won't be overlooking the Razorbacks in this one.
8. Mississippi State @ Florida (4:15, SECN)
How many camera cuts to Billy Napier will show him just staring into the void? State should do the humane thing here and put him out of his misery with one final home loss.

Now that's funny! Don't be surprised if SEC Shorts picks it up.

You do a good job on sales pitching each game. You should be a professional at this.
