The Aggies would likely be the number one team. Yes. Above Ohio State.

Yes. Above Miami.

Yes. Above Bama.

Yes. Above everyone.

The ND win in south bend looms large. And it’s a better road win that any other undefeated team has.

If A&M stays unbeaten they will be number one.

Yes I know there’s other games left. That’s why we play them. But if they stay unbeaten beaten they won’t be top five come November.

They will be top 2.

The committee is wise to wait until November to release its first poll.

No sir. We lost to ND. We also had an injured QB at this point in the season. And our top two RBs were injured at this point in the season. And our passing game was terrible.

We actually were not very good last year by what we want our goals to be. It just wasn’t good enough.

We still aren’t there but we are closer. I personally think the penalties will eventually bite us. But if they fix that and we stay healthy they will be 1 or 2 in a month.

Huge improvement. And still a big question mark.

The next game is Florida and then we go on a 3 game road trip of all SEC games. A&M needs to clean up a lot of things if we expect to keep winning.

You’d possibly be #1.. but the committee is not today, it’s a while from now, it’s a looooong season!

I agree 100 percent. And typically we shite the bed. But we have

Florida
Arkansas
LSU
Missouri (November 8)
Samford
Texas

Based on how I see each team playing now, I would put the probability of Aggies being number 1 or 2 in November above 50 percent. I think the first game they lose is Missouri.

Ah. The prelude to one of the best parts of every college football season:

The top of the rollercoaster when A&M brags about their inevitable championship. 5 games in and they’ve beaten the mighty Auburn and Mississippi State. Clearly the best of the best.

Surely this year will be different. No way they fall flat against Florida, LSU, Mizzou, South Carolina, and Texas.

Surely it’s different this time…

Last week MSU were world beaters by competing with Tennessee. Now that A&M has skull fricked them MSU isn’t any good and A&M is just beating bad teams.

Child please.

I can still see 3 losses on our schedule. Penalties will absolutely cost us a game if we can’t fix that.

Why do you want to be ranked #1? If I'm not mistaken, since the first playoff in 2014, the #1 seed has been the eventual champion only 4 out of 11 times.

4/11 is probably a higher percentage than any other ranking.

A&M is a good team. People are still underestimating Elko.

You are clearly mentally retarded. The Bama win over Ga is currently the best win of any top 10 team in the country but that being said, Miami is the clear #1 with them, OSU, Oregon and either A&M or Ol miss getting the 4 byes, as it stands today. A lot can and will happen between now and dec.

You definitely are set up with the best schedule remaining, with opponents good enough to improve your resume but not too hard to beat them.

No sir. You are the retarded one. I said out of unbeaten teams. Bama has a loss sir. A loss.

You will not be ranked in November above an unbeaten team that has beaten ND. Miami could be the only team above A&M. Because they also beat ND. But A&M did it on the road. So they will be higher.

You’re either an idiot or can’t read.

Bama is t going to leap over an unbeaten A&M. You are delusional.

I never once said that, idiot. I clearly said the bama win was the best win of any top 10 team. Nothing more nothing less.

They’d be behind Miami, OSU and Oregon. Of those 3 only Miami would deserve to be ahead based on teams that have been beaten. I don’t think you have any argument to say that A&M has a better resume than the Canes. The Aggies look like a good team, but the schedule hasn’t been a murderer’s row. If they take 2 losses on the remaining schedule, I’d argue they don’t deserve a playoff spot.
