Type in Warren.nolan.com and then click on FBS for this season. It's his formula based only on games played against DI opponents; and those are broken down into four quadrants. You can also Google ELO rankings and see if there are further explanations. I do think it's safe to assume that almost all of the playoff teams will come from his Top Fifteen, with the exception of the Group of Five rep.

interesting. lsu has a trash offense and oklahoma's was mediocre before mateer got hurt

This is all going to start to settle once everyone gets a couple of conference games. Still way too many cupcake games messing with the metrics.

I think the most interesting team to watch is Texas. They still haven't played a league game, and they are the only team that has eight of them in a row. At this point, there are at least 14 or 15 teams that can line up and beat each other.

Iowa State # 8? I bet TT rolls them if they play each other in the Big 12 CG.
