There was a lot of pressure from former players to hire Sam and I’d imagine that that played a part in his hiring. And Tyson basically made our basketball hire.
I guess we’ll see who has the most pull with this hire.

This issue with HY is more the extension... having to pay a 9 mill buyout to a coach who has been a failure for 2.5 years seems crazy.

Too much anger over there for me until today. But HY didn’t hire Morris from what I’ve heard and I don’t have any problem with him.
I’m happy for Sam and I know he’s going to enjoy his retirement and he’s earned it.
