and overestimated where UGA is at right now. When the Alabama offense unraveled after a dominant first drive v. FSU, I didn't think I'd see them become an offense that'd go on the road and completely dictate the game to a quality opponent. However, that is exactly what we saw yesterday. The defense still leaves a lot to desire and can't catch breaks with injuries, but they made two massive plays that decided the game. The first half forced fumble by Hubbard put 3 on the board for Alabama. The 2nd half 4th and 1 stop at the Alabama 10 yl took at least 3 off the board for Georgia.

This is a week to week league now. There are no layups on the schedule anymore. The transfer portal has ended teams like Alabama and Georgia having starter quality two-deeps. Georgia certainly fell victim to that along the OL last night. Their OL played well despite injuries but had a real boneheaded blocking gaff that allowed the 4th and 1 stop.

For Alabama, we've really got to be concerned about an already shaky defense getting plagued with injuries. However, at least we know everyone else is running into this problem too because nobody has the depth of elite programs from the 2010s.

100%. Trying to predict a future result based on other games is almost pointless.

College football is rapidly turning into the NFL.

Sad but true. And for that reason I'm just not as enamored with it the way I used to be. Used to follow recruiting and pretty much keep up with Bama year round. Now I watch the games but without the same emotional investment as before.

I know some fans were complaining about it but I love the IL rotation they used and it was quality reps not mop up
Reps. They have done an excellent job of developing depth in the OL. I feel like God forbid but it feels like we could absorb injuries if they were to happen.
