2026 and 2027 conference games

...It took me until just now to realize that we'll now have four conference games in Sanford Stadium every season instead of three, which will be the same number as half the other teams in the conference moving forward This will be way more equitable and a good thing for us I'd imagine. We've had three conference games in Sanford Stadium ever since the SEC moved to an 8 game conference schedule way back in the day, while everybody else had 4 (except for Florida and those years when Texas A&M and Arkansas played in Dallas and way more recently Oklahoma and Texas).

Plot twist.
Flip home and away for the 2026 schedule and that will be our 2028 SEC schedule, and flip home and away for the 2027 schedule and that will be our 2029 schedule.
Flip home and away for the 2026 schedule and that will be our 2028 SEC schedule, and flip home and away for the 2027 schedule and that will be our 2029 schedule.

Weird. We go back to Bama and Ole Miss again but won’t go back to LSU until 2029. Kinda sucks not to space those out.

Beginning to wonder if I’ll live long enough to see us play A&M. Seems it’s always next year.
