That we were going undefeated this season?

Yall melting like we lost a national championship game. Oklahoma and Auburn are both pretty good teams I’d expect each to be around the 9-3/8-4 area at the end of the season. I thought outside of a few sacks we outplayed them. They couldn’t run for shite. We couldn’t run but had more success than they did. Both QBs played meh. Mateer will cost his team a couple games this season. Not sure I can say the same about Arnold yet.

I’m still sticking to my 9-3 season prediction nothing at all changed and I had Okie as a loss on my preseason predictions. I did think after the first 3 weeks that our OL was better in the run game but Oklahoma had something to do with that as well.

The WRs and QB are playing average. JA is risk adverse. Exactly what everyone wanted. Don’t just give games away yall all said. He isn’t. He has some elite qualities exactly the same as Cam Coleman. For every bad decision by JA I can show you a player loafing on offense.

We took deep shots, many of them. Fans wanted more deep shots. Some worked some didn’t but that is normal. Yes JA threw a bad ball on the one Cam laid out in the endzone for. Ok. It happens.

Today fans are complaining about no middle of the field routes. We tried. We had one hit a linebacker in the numbers, 1 get batted down, Howard dropped another in his hands, JA threw another slightly behind Singleton. That’s about 6 throw in the short intermediate area in the middle of the field. We just aren’t very good there.

We definitely have some issues coaching and players. But I didn’t think. We were a perfect team by any stretch going into the season.

Let’s get better build depth and win some of these damn games especially against our rivals.

Also I think if I were Hugh if we get another game like this one where the OL is struggling to protect I definitely go one side of the field reads. Not there get out of there or throw it away

Didnt read all of that. Nobody is melting about anything but the stupid OL and we have no TEs worth a damn.

Well, I for one expected more of the same this year.

However, I still don't like it, and will complain about it from time to time.

7 wins, tops.

Bad OL, no passing game, inconsistent secondary, horrid special teams. Running game is average at best.

I agree completely something has to change on special teams. Atrocious.

Have to be better prepared mentally in that phase of the game. We obviously don’t spend enough time in situational awareness.

We did. Oklahoma front 7 is very good. Granted we got way to predictable inside zone, inside power, QB Draw, so line backers were able to attack the A gap all game. Then we had some just dumb false starts not sure if noise or just couldn’t hold their water on those. Hard to tell.

But also for the record and have said this for 2 years already I do not like Jake Thornton’s OL coaching or blocking schemes. I give him credit for layering some depth but that’s it.

It’s called the same problem we’ve had the past 3 years: no quick passes called, no going 4-5 WR sets to spread the defense out, and a QB that holds the ball like he’s trying to hatch an egg.

You wanted to go empty against that pass rush lol. They kicked our OL’s arse bad enough with a TE and RB in.

Tell me you don’t know shite without saying it

Yeah. A couple if those sacks were complete whiffs but our O-lineman.

I really think OU had one of the best, if not the best, D-line we will see all year.

They still shouldn't be letting D-Lineman go unchallenged to the quarterback. Arnold is gonna get his arse kicked if we let that happen.

I still like this team. We will see.

We called quick passes. Many of them some outlined above. Then we had the quick outs to singleton in screen fashion. Weren’t you saying we needed to throw deep last week? Make up your mind.

Im so over this guy already.

Let Perry put on a little weight and let him be a pass catching TE.

I remember your concerns about the OL coach.

I feel bamboozled in thinking our OL was finally up to par. Were they 10 sacks and 8 penalties bad? No. Maybe 5 sacks and 8 penalties...and no run game.

Give me the OL freshmen of Ryan Pugh, Lee Ziemba, and Isom before we give some fatty another payday.

Yep. Hell, there was one play where Cobb picked up a blitzing LBer, got him on the ground and the guy got back up and made the sack anyway.

Removing all help to try and block their front would have even been even uglier. Not to me tion he wouldn't have even had time to get through the progression with 4 or 5 wide a bunch.

Is Preston Howard our best TE blocker or does he have major dirt on Freeze? I cant figure out why he is actually in games. He is the opposite of a pass catcher.

Perry can’t figure out WR no way could he handle all the stuff a TE has to handle.

Not sure why we can’t get some at least one elite type TE recruit every other cycle. Maybe Hollis is but I doubt it. Ghea and Frazier are good blockers. Unless we are in heavy I say give Frazier a chance at the big slot TE spot as well. Hell at least he could just play rebound. Get that big arse against the defender and shield him out

Multitude is melting. Wanting coaches fired. Blaming players. The same as always.

We got fricked bad. I’m pissed as well. I was very pissed last night but I’m not gonna go full meltdown and call for firings and question everything about the team.

I’ll repeat for the 30th time… there are no perfect coaches, no perfect game plans, no perfect players.

I do agree it’s time to win some of these game. I get the frustration. But to act like babies for 3 days after every loss is kind of weird
