They should have won that game.

Cheating and bad officiating is supposed to be their thing and OU came and undercut that.
This is yet another thing the big 12 has taken from us.
Build a wall!

She’d not 1 tear for the Auburn Tigers. Karma finally came calling. Let’s just hope the game yesterday was the start of a lot of payback.

Sure it's bad officiating but
- Only scored 17 points
- went 3/15 on third down
- gave up 10 sacks and had 6 false starts
- caught a punt inside our own 1
- had 13 penalties
- missed several wide open deep balls
- ran 68 plays, 13 carries from RBs
- missed another field goal
- QB held the ball way too long
- had 287 total yards
- bad snap on a punt
We had our opportunities but blew a lot because of our own errors. Some of the credit definitely has to go to Oklahoma's gameplan on defense really shutting down our run and their pass rush.

If you give up 10 sacks you deserve to lose

OU was better on:
- 3rd and 4th down efficiency
- more total yards on offense
- better completion %
- better avg per play
- had more penalty yardage against them
- accumulated 10 sacks
- and turned the ball over giving Auburn an opportunity, but still forced them to punt

Dilution of a league isn’t just for the original fanbases having to travel out west that don’t really care about going out west.
It dilutes the officiating as well as everything else.
The best league ever, is not what it used to be.
Old rivalries like AU-UF, LSU-AU etc are sacrificed so new additions can feel important.
Contraction isn’t a bad thing.

Wow! You are the first sane Auburn fan I've run across since before the game. Seriously! I had no ill will towards Auburn because we had no reason. But the melts since last night are crazy.
After the Michigan game it was all respect even online boards and social media. After this game it was all focused on one play. Not just here but social media too. Every OU game attendee said Auburn fans were great and only the online fans were bad. Posts here mimicked that.
We played bad in first half. Game was there for taking. Mateer didn’t get going til second half and was 16 of 17..
It seemed to me Freeze was determined to use passing game to win no matter what. He wanted to help Arnold become a hero vs his old team. The sacks killed momentum because it made down and distance longer. By making the game-plan pass focused he actually set Arnold up to fail. I was surprised he didn’t run more to set up the pass.
OU has a lot to fix. We will lose games this year because we cannot establish the run. Running QB helps but we need backs to do more. Blaylock is best RB but true freshman and he got impatient and ran into back of oline vs patience. Can be fixed. But Ott is MIA. Barnes dropped short pass at 12 forcing us to kick FG. Rookie safety got burned but your WR is one of best in country and lessons were learned by our youngster going forward.
The game was hard to follow because refs were bad and wanted to be the focus. No game is ever exactly equal on calls and we got the better end. But their influence ruined the flow of game for both teams.
Anyways, I need to remember your name because you actually talked football and are the first Auburn fan I’ve run into since game that has. Refreshing
Thanks for a reasonable post and discussion.
