Dude is averaging 7.1 YPC. I know it’s unlikely he’ll sustain that for the season, but that’s still very impressive. Everyone knew Hardy was gonna be a beast, but Roberts may be the best RB2 in CFB. He’s easily my surprise outbreak player of the season thus far.

I hope both backs are working on being receivers as well because adding that element to their games would increase lethality and variety in the offense.

I agree. He showed he could do all the dirty work at the position last year. His vision, patience, power, and long speed allow for little drop off when Luper rotates.

Jamal should 100% focus on his screen game and of course blocking for BP.

If Beau is going to telegraph his downfield passes, it's vital to become multiple with the short area stuff.

And getting either Roberts or Hardy in space on a screen should be bonus yardage.
