i’m afraid thats what that Simmons TD did to AU today
hope we wont completely collapse in the wake of this but based on recent history i will be very surprised if we don’t lose the next 4 in a row

A&M was off and sat home and watched. They will be fresh and we have to go to their stadium. Expect them to win by at least 2 TD's.
UGA- Blowout loss - they are twice the team OU is on both sides of ball.
Mizzou. Their offense might be the best we've faced. Another blowout.
Arky - Win (they are really bad)
KY - Win, but it will be close
Vandy - They are a better all around team. I think we hang, but it will be a loss.
Mercer - Win
Bama - Blowout loss

recent AU history is all that really matters, and ours hasn’t been good
saw some glimmers of hope (hence the “escape” comparison) only to have it completely collapse at the end (see 2023 IB, 2024 vs Mizzou, 2024 vs OU, etc)
like i said, we’ll know by Halloween if we’re really improving or just stumbling further along down the road to irrelevance
