Give Bobo credit for recognizing all those shifts and motions in a loud stadium,

Turns the crowd noise against UTs own defenses presnap communications. They trolled themselves much like the Red Coats Peps playing rocky top and the UGA fans singing it on the way off the field....

Yep. Surprised the TV cameras could see through the noise. It was blinding.

We had zero false starts as well which is amazing.

If we had subbed Hughley for Uini about 2 drives sooner, we might could have put that game away in the 3rd when we had the chances. Bobo was great.

Yup. The right side of our line was awful. We would have been as well to stick physical back up dline out there to earth block on the nose in running plays or handle their inside gap assignment.
We won with a major problem on the right side of the Oline. I think that is why we went so conservative.

Overall I think bobo called a really good game yesterday.
My two biggest gripes were all mostly 3 qtr stuff. Running it right up the middle when they are stacking the box to an insane degree, and not giving our RT who was atrocious any chip help very often.
His plays are getting more and more creative bit by bit.

At some point, if you are going to commit to run the ball, that's what it looks like. Stacked up, with an occasional short gain, offset with the occasional long gains. That's the running game even with Herschel.

I wish he would incorporate a bit more of the run game style monkin did with stet.
I brought it up in the game thread but why do we not do a QB triple read option with a wr with branch coming in motion like we used to do all the time with Stetson and Ladd?
Where are the fake out runs right and throw back screens to our TE in the red zone?
That kind of stuff is what I mean by getting more creative but all and all I give him an A score for yesterday. Very good

They had been a few option play concepts this year.
If I was a hs coach, I would use veer concepts to run and rpo to pass.

That's on Kirby.
If you listened to his post game show he made the call
to keep the ball on the ground after the success of the 14 play TD drive (13 running) in the 3rd qtr.

Bobo called an excellent game. I thought the game would clarify things one way or the other, but it got muddier for me. Is Tennessee's defense that bad, or is our offense that good> Tennessee fans felt like their defense was going to be really good this year, and fans typically have a decent feel for their own team.
Then is our defense that bad, or is Tennessee's offense that good? They are known to have really good offenses and the only think missing the last couple of years was their QB. Aguilar looked really good at times and meh at times. He really ran hot and cold, but when he was hot, he threw the ball spot on.
Offense was my big question mark and they showed out yesterday. Defense, to me, is always a given...but they looked really, really bad at times and decent at other times.
