I ask because i remember explaining to my son that when Auburn managed to snatch victory from Les Miles jaws of victory years ago, how that was really a good thing for LSU because he would be fired for sure then and he was the next week.

So since I am hearing both from the few Florida fans I know, what are you pulling for a victory to stabilize the ship for now, or a beatdown so u can end the swamp billy experiment sooner rather than later

Over 40 because only older fans will fully understand and appreciate what I am saying to begin with, and you will be the ones expected to write the checks.

As a person, I was sad to see Les go because he was hilarious but as a fan, it was very helpful

Pulling for a Florida win but know an LSU loss pretty much seals his fate.

Good question.

Will be interesting at the response...

On the outside looking in, it appears

If FL goes to LSU and takes care of business, all will be forgotten.

They fold like a cheap suit and get rolled, Napier may be unemployed next Sunday.

Probably would be better for FL to go ahead and get rolled now and stop the bleeding, but we'll see.

I think this is what most Gators are thinking.

Yeah, that’s what I am getting from my buddies, some real apathy here.

Kinda like I was with Les, I really wanted him to fix it but after a few times of getting fooled I was over it and him. And the universe rewarded us with the greatest college team ever seen to date, the 2019 Tigers lead by Joe Burrow. (And me with seats on 45 yard line to see it all happen in the natty. )

After LSU they have Miami, Georgia and Florida State to frick it all up. They really didn’t have a mulligan to lose to USF.

I think they want a win or a complete AK and definitely not another loss due to coaching or player bonehead move

From maturing through life's hardships, I just want Gators to blast whoever they're playing on any given Saturday regardless of who the coach or the opponent are. Beating LSU with Napier would be funny, like how Zook gave the nattie champs LSU with Saban their only loss in '03 funny. Ciatrick Fason aka C4 ran the rock down the sideline to Gators victory back then giving LSU their only blemish that year, haha.

You're not going to find a real Gator fan (see your way past this lil' caw) that cares about Sunbelt Billy any longer, your dominating the scoreboard, while hurtful in the short term, will hasten what should have already happened.

However, if ol' Sunbelt does manage a win (doubtful at best) then the enjoyment of lsu fan melt will be that much better.

So, win-win.

So it’s a win -win to be stuck with Sunbelt Billy as long as you get to see a ln LSU melt? What a moron hahaha

I don't root against the Gators but I won't get too upset about a loss if it means we are one step closer to moving on from Napier.

What about 39?

Am I not a real Gator fan? 50/50. Hate Napier so worried a win makes Scott think he is good. We can't do another season with him as coach.

Over 40 fan here, I don't think the outcome of this game has any impact on Napier's employment status. If he wasn't fired directly after the abysmal USF showing, losing to LSU in any fashion won't do it.

ETA: so frick LSU, I hope we blow the doors off the Tigers, at least then we'll be able to enjoy the melt. But that won't change the fact that we still have Napier and won't ever win shite while he's there.

I believe the HC and the players were unprepared and were looking ahead to the LSU game. The HC and players were probably caught off guard.
