I don't listen to or pay attention to the talking sports heads online or on tv. They don't know anything.
They did that silly bracket just for clicks and traffic. They're just trying to make a buck.

This team won't be the first out.
They'll either be a solid "in" or not even in contention.
There is no in between for us.
The 2025 Tigers have what it takes to make the playoffs, though.

Sports talk people get paid to talk about sports. Since the relevance of the regular season has declined, they start talking about the post-season sooner.
Why do I say the relevance of the regular season has declined? In the BCS era, you would be hard-pressed to make it to the championship with one loss; now you can do it with two. I'm not saying that's a good or a bad thing, but the fact is that there's more margin for error in the expended playoff field.
After week two, it does not matter what anyone thinks of your team. Just keep winning (if you're SEC or Big Ten anyway), and you're in.
