Tide fans are realizing now that was not the case. Alabama has had the luxury of having the 2 greatest coaches in college football history. You have a tremendous brand that Nick Saban tapped into and turned back into a juggernaut that we were all afraid he would.
We tried to tell you that one day Saban would retire and reality would strike. But you didn’t want to listen to us because you were by god Alabama! And yet, here we are and that day has arrived.

No contradicting. It’s true you have a great brand. But you’ve also had the luxury of the two greatest coaches in college football history. Reality is, you ALL thought you were bigger than Saban and that isn’t true.

One played there and the other found out the pros wasn’t for him after all. It’s really that simple. Lest we forget that Nick Saban WANTED to go back to LSU but it wasn’t available. tBear even said it, “Mama’s calling. And when mama calls, you go home.”

They are...they have 12 recogized NT(claim 18), 30 SEC titles, and over 950 wins.
UF is not near that, is LSU? No? Weird talking shite about programs history when their history is clearly better than yours...talk shite about Michigan or Ohio State's history next please....

Well I guess you're right.
Without the best coaches (that just wandered on campus), players, and facilities of all-time, the Alabama program would be much, much worse.

Like most blue bloods a legendary coach put them on the map. Like most blue bloods it also takes some luck and other teams losing to win championships. Saban had a good amount of luck but to his credit he almost always took advantage of it and won 6 national titles with Bama.

From 1958-2023, every single coach who coached at least one season at Alabama had at least one 10 win season. Since 1920, a span of 10 decades, Alabama has won a national championship in every one but two. In the past 100 years five different coaches have won national championships at Alabama. Eight of the twelve coaches won at least one conference championship.
Everyone said Alabama was dead when Bear retired. That was obviously not the case.
Alabama was a blue blood before Saban. Saying Saban made Alabama is just dumb. He made Alabama better for sure. But Alabama IS bigger than any one coach.
No rational Alabama fan expected the trains to keep running exactly on time when Saban retired. We did however expect them to at least stay on the tracks.
There is still a whole season of football to play. It would be a real shame if the Alabama program whose grave you are shoveling dirt on beat your team.
