We all know Bear's first title was a perfect season and were #1 in both polls, but Ohio State claims it. They went 8-0-1 and the school voted not to let the team participate in the Rose Bowl due to it's appearance that athletics were more important than academics.

However, the tie was against TCU at home. TCU was 3-5-2 that year...

I'll bet no more that it bothers us that USC claims part of 2003.

Alabama should claim 1966 instead of 1941.

Oh, they do. The FWAA chose Ohio State in 1961, over 11-0 Alabama. So they claim it.

Agreed. Bryant said he thought that was his best Alabama team. And freakin' Ara knew he would still win the NC while playing for a tie.

Honestly, I'm more bothered that the 2010 team lost three games.

frick Stephen Garcia.
