The off-season problems are getting dramatically worse day by day, and the cliche holds true for many of these players: "They need football in their lives to keep them out of trouble."
I don't know any details on the terrible tragedy with the Ole Miss freshman in Memphis, but I do know that it wouldn't have happened in Oxford with a grueling practice waiting for you in a few hours.

Agreed. The key to raising children is that you keep them so busy, they don't have time to get into trouble.
