Does LSU care the most about CWS because they are a poor state?

Texas is great at everything but Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi care more about CWS. That area of the country can't afford travel and experiences so they need something to feel good about. It reminds me of Bama with football with the t-Shirt fans who never went to college and live through a state school.
Any LSU grads that want to apply at my engineering firm may do so, we have a few janitorial jobs available. It's mostly toilet scrubbing but if you do a good job you can empty the trash cans.

It’s honestly astonishing they’re about to be National Champions. They were middle of the pack in the SEC, got tore up by most of the top seeds. They barely escaped one of the weakest regionals in the tournament. Needed Arkansas to step on their dicks to get to the CWS. Better to be lucky than good.
