I mean holy hell that is gonna be one of the best DLines we’ve ever had. With Mateer and Ott plus others on O, this could be a sneaky title run year.

Yeah, there's no real single standout guy on the DL, but there are a lot of really good ones. You need depth in the SEC.

Holy cow, I forgot we only got a half share (July 24-Jun 25) due to leaving early. This year starting in Jul (I may be off a month the year might start on 1 Jun) we get a full share. And our increase alone is $32M! Just the increase.

We also paid a yuuuuuge exit fee to the Big XII, during 2024.

I think because of Arnold and competing in SEC causes more negative recruiting

This is where Nagy can help us recruit. He can explain to recruits his NFL connections and insider info. He can explain how OU can get you to the NFL. We have a top defense now and as we put defenders in NFL that will pay off in future years. I think he was a great hire and will help Brent focus on X’s and O’s.

After last year's experience, I think we have to add an additional caveat: as long as we don't have our top 4-5 players at a single position group injured for most of the year, this team should surprise everybody.
