Are you serious Clark ?
You won't even be able to see the game sitting at field level in the endzone.
I doubt that those field level "suites" are air conditioned, so they will be a frigging Green House Sauna early in the season.

What are the refs on the field doing if they can't see the game from around the endzone?

Ok, let me clarify.
The only part of the game that you will be able to see is when the game is being playing inside the 20 on your end of the field.
Refs on the field are limited to watching the small portion of the game that is actually in their vision & responsible for refereeing.
A Ref on the field actually has a pretty shitty view of the game, outside of the positions that he is responsible for watching.
You really couldn't figure that one out ?

We did that a while back at Bryant-Denny, and the AD pointed out that the future of attendance is fewer seats, more "premium" amenities like clubs, lounges, etc.

Basically they all know they're losing the Average Joe, and need to fill these billion-dollar facilities with people who enjoy watching in a massage chair with bottle service.

According to the official numbers, we were at 101,821 in 2010 and went down to 100,077 (-1744) by 2020. But the nature of those seats changed a good bit.

They partially removed an intermediate level and added loge boxes. Here's how much they cost:

$250k donation, $16k/yr membership, $2.7k/yr seat (each)

So your five-year outlay for four seats would be about $384k, or roughly $100k each.

I think the people buying these seats would probably realize they can only see a small portion of the field, but being up close to that part of the field is the whole point. Like sitting at the glass at a hockey game, you don't get a great view of the entire rink but when the action is close to where you are you're right up close to the players.

We did the same thing with the north end zone expansion at DWS. Stays sold out I believe.

Field level suites are one of the biggest scams in sports. I'll never understand the people who waste money on those things at Cowboys Stadium.

In terms of the experience/spectacle though, these are actually pretty sweet.
