Auburn trying to join North Carolina as the only program to ever do it twice. Duke trying to join the group.

Houston- 1967
UCLA- 1969
LSU- 1986
Texas- 2003
Florida- 2005
N. Carolina- 2008, 2009
Auburn- 2019
Texas Tech- 2019
NC State- 2024

2005-2008 must have been a hell of a stretch for Florida fans.

LSU had a some really
good stretches in that time but not as condensed as that.

Yes. Unfortunately for Auburn, our Golden Age of Basketball and a respectable strong period for baseball coincides with our worst 5-7 year stretch for football of the last century.

Agree but saying Auburn is “trying” to do something is not saying we will do it.
