Is it completely wrong for me to assume that we have the same pitchers available that we had in the SECT against Vandy and most of the game 3s that we lost? Or in an emergency situation will we really see Doyle, Snead and Russell? I honestly don't know how this is gonna work. Phillips has to be cooked for sure I'd think.
If it's Kuhns/Krenzel/Franklin/Loy we are in trouble imo.

Doyle threw over 100 pitches on Friday. Pitching him at all tonight would be wild.
It also IMO wouldn't even be smart. So he throws 100+ on Friday, then throws a bunch tonight. Well, if you win, you have possibly three more games this weekend, and you prob can't start him again until Sunday, which may never come.
IMO, Vitello needs to start AJ Russell and let him go as long as he can. He needs to stop pussy-footing around with his usage. Either he's healthy or he isn't. He threw around 50 pitches Saturday and it Saturday was his first outing in a week and a half.

I agree. You can't pray the Kuhns/Krenzel combo finally works for the first time in months.

MLB will not like it if he runs Doyle out again

Your bats will feast tonight though. If you can hold them to 1 run per inning or less you should win by 5 IMO.

Doesn't mlb arm take four days rest?

Funny how many fans who supposedly root for college baseball know nothing about how long a pitchers rest time is … it’s not four days . It also depends on the shitty nature of the coach .

So what's the formula? You are claiming that this is set and doesn't change from player to player?

The SEC is dropping teams like flies. See what you can do.
