Okay, Texas and Texas A&M...let's talk about your "we will steal coaches" money. :lol:

Your continued "we're gonna make a run at so and so" is laughable.
Saban to Texas...remember that one?
Vitello to Texas...how did that workout?
Vitello to A&M...not if Tennessee wants to keep him.
You may steal a coach from another well-heeled SEC school, but it won't be over money. It will be they are not happy with their current AD or maybe the area they are in now.
None of the schools with the more wealthy donor base will allow you to buy their coach. They will match or beat any offer you make. Should you get one over money, it's because you paid way more than the other school thought the coach was worth. Then it is your loss (think Jimbo Fisher).

I’m glad I have a team competing in the tournament so I don’t have so much time on my hands that I have to create threads about other schools.

Well, Texas already stole a coach from A&M over money. So they can sit this one out...
And A&M isn't poaching another SEC baseball coach, especially not Vitello. This is a thread in response to another thread that was started by some idiot reading the Aggie message board.

I’m on a couple Texas sites and none of the mods and reporters there mentioned Vitello last year. They all mentioned Schloss as a candidate as his relationship with CDC goes as far back as his TCU days.

Yeah, don’t remember this. Del Conte got a front row seat to Vitello’s tossing in the CWS in ‘21. I doubt he was a primary target.
