And Ole Miss is 6-5 against these teams with a game still to go against vandy.

Wow congrats man! Does the NCAA send you a banner for this?

Very strong finish for the rebs. Without a doubt deserve to host a regional and should be strongly considered for a Top 8 national seed.

LSU is about to be a top 8 seed. I would never expect a Mizzou fan to understand how that feels.

I have no idea why you would say this, but sure, pal

Man, LSU ain't gonna get out of their regional. They're gonna get Fooked.

LSU will get out of their regional but it will depend on the draw for the super regional. Our bats aren’t where they need to be. Not even close, but your team doesn’t look great in that department either hahahahahaha

Why not? They’d probably need to beat Vandy, but their metrics are as good or better than most of the other teams being considered.

I think the SEC deserves at least 5 Top 8 seeds. SEC haters don't like the metrics, but they are what they are. Five straight natties from five different teams. This will be six straight when it's all said and done.

Who’s spot in the top 8 would they take? I think you are putting more emphasis on a conference tournament than the selection committee is going to do. Pitching rotations in these conference tournaments are not normal weekend rotations. What was OM conference record during the regular season. I can look it up but I figured that maybe you already knew since you have been this dialed in on OM baseball stats. In my opinion that’s where the committee is going to make decisions based on. Just my opinion, but I’m pretty confident about it. So much so that I won’t post on this board for a year if OM gets a top 8 seed.

The SEC is going to get 6 of the top 8 , but OM won’t be one of them

Possibly. The committee does have a history of being lazy and not awarding teams for conference tourney success. But I was arguing earlier in the week that Ole Miss was being seriously undervalued by the prognosticators…. They had a resume worthy of hosting a regional before stepping foot in Hoover.

Re: Ole Miss. The current resume is: #5 SOS, #10 RPI, 19 Quad 1 wins, the best in the country. Those metrics reflect an entire season. It would not surprise me if OM gets a Top 8 seed, but they'll host a regional, of course.

You lost 2/3 in BR. I’d sit this one out

OM 16-14 conference mark is good enough to host a regional but that isn’t going to get them a top 8
