Curt paved the way for others but paid a steep price personally.

Dunno. But if they all start sitting out, it would fix the problem.


Boosters would quit paying them at all and by not playing, they would not be able to get looked at in the draft - costing them even more money.


I hope to God they all start "holding out" with the belief that they're "gonna show us".

There are plenty of baws who would be willing to play without all this excess. There are 10,000 college football players at any given time, I would guess the vast majority are not making major dollars

The product quality would get dinged a bit, but that’s ok - if I want to watch football at the highest level, I watch the NFL. Otherwise it’s to watch LSU whip all your sorry asses

There are 30,000 D1 players alone, and in reality, only the starters at the FBS level are getting money that we would even deem to be "significant".


They ain't making a down payment on a house with their NIL money outside of maybe 100 players.
