Which is not remotely the same thing as naming Ty the starter.

Sounds like Ty is limiting the mistakes so far, but doesn't have the arm talent that Mack and Russell have shown.

Probably see how they look in fall camp before making Ty the starter

Neither did Greg McElroy or AJ McCarron or Jake Coker. Alabama has elite WR corps, RB and I think a good TE room when healthy. All we need is a god QB who doesn’t make mistakes and can throw to the open WR. Other than Tua coming in against Georgia none of these elite QBs win a NC but the guys who just did what was asked has. I believe this defense will be elite.
